Tech Sales Development Representative (SDR) Job Description

Vexer Agency is seeking a motivated and dynamic Tech Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our rapidly-growing sales team. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation: Identify, research, and target potential business opportunities from various sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research.
  2. Qualification: Qualify the leads from all sources to ensure they meet the criteria for potential customers and have genuine interest.
  3. Outreach: Conduct proactive outbound cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to engage potential leads.
  4. Appointment Setting: Schedule product demos or meetings between qualified leads and the sales team.
  5. Maintain CRM: Update and maintain the customer relationship management system (CRM), ensuring all communication and actions with potential leads are accurately documented.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and increase lead quality.
  7. Feedback: Provide insights from prospect feedback to the sales and product teams to help refine pitch and product offerings.
  8. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the tech industry and competitors to ensure you’re positioning Vexer Agency effectively and highlighting our unique value proposition.
  9. Meet or Exceed Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas of qualified opportunities.


  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or a similar role, preferably in the tech industry.
  3. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  4. Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with tech products/services and the ability to quickly grasp Vexer Agency’s product offerings.
  5. CRM Knowledge: Experience with CRM systems, preferably [specific CRM, e.g., Salesforce].
